Html In Facebook ? ?my Html? Usage Guide With Screenshots
By adding simple html tags, you can make your Facebook profile more attractive. You can add text formatting, images, tables, links and more html tags using a Facebook application called ‘My HTML’. You can make your text bold, underlined, italic, colored etc. You can also use different font sizes and even change the background color using html.
To get My HTML, simply go to the following url:
http://apps.facebook.com/my-html/
Click ‘Authorize My HTML’ to add the application.
Facebook will ask you whether it should give My HTML the permission to access your profile. Click ‘Allow’.
You need to then add a new tab for My HTML. There are also other options, like using My HTML in your wall; but this one is the best.
Go to your Facebook profile and click the plus sign to add a new tab and select ‘My HTML’ from the list.
Then click ‘Applications’ link from the left side of your Facebook profile and click ‘My HTML’. It would show the My HTML application interface. Paste the html code and click ‘Preview’ to make sure that it looks good.
I just created some html code for a passage about parrots from the Wikipedia article. But you can actually add something about you and replace the ‘info’ page with the html page.(You need to rearrange your tab so that My HTML tab appears next to your Facebook wall).. Here is the preview of the html that I added:
Once you are satisfied, click ‘publish’. You can see the published html page in the ‘My HTML’ tab of your Facebook profile.
There are also other Facebook applications to add html, like ‘Profile Html’, but My HTML is the best of all.
You can see the list of allowed html codes in Facebook here:
http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Allowed_FBML_and_HTML_Tags
There is also a WYSIWYG editor to easily insert html and it is ‘HTML Profile Box’.
Don’t know html? You can learn html in 5 hours. It is very easy (Actually, you can learn basic html in 10 minutes but the 5 hours includes the practicing). Go to this website to learn html: http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp

I use a program called “ThumbHTML”
Its free and easy to use and setup.
It will create a picture album for you in a few easy steps. you can them upload the entire directory to your webserver and link to the index file of the image album.

I don’t get it! Where can I find the HTML for a photo I just uploaded? I’m a blogger elsewhere, and want to post a photo but all the sites I usually use are refusing to upload right now so I came to Flickr. I had no trouble uploading, but can’t find the HTML!
Help, please!
